ARTiFACTS SPECIAL EVENT:  Paint-In for Crisis Center
in the pavilion at Sooke Region Museum

Sat May 27: 1pm
As part of the Artifacts Show there is an “Art Battle” style paint-In with profits being donated to the Crisis Center. Participants will have twenty minutes to splash paint on canvas: a flowing assortment of colors and swirling shapes. If you think you can not paint, don’t fret. We have artist’s that will guide you to make a modern abstract that will attract. Colour and tone is what it’s all about, and you will surprise yourself in what you can accomplish in 20 minutes!
The paintings will then be sold, the profits being donated to the Sooke Crisis Center.
The Crisis Center offers emergency food, shelter and other support services to local people in need.
If you really feel you can not paint, I ask you to come out and purchase, or at least egg on those that are painting!
Pass this invite along to your friends. More info, contact Linda Gordon
